I booked a makeup lesson with Anjuli in an effort to finally understand what I should and could be doing better with what I have. We looked through my makeup, discussed my needs (every day vs office vs party) and then explored possibilities. It was the most fun, most collaborative and least stressful lesson I have ever had in my life! Anjuli was patient and understanding and was able to explain the process in a way I could understand. Most importantly, when I figured out what look I liked the most, she made sure I had the basics down perfectly and naturally. Since our session, I try to experiment with different colours and styles and I thank Anjuli for this new found courage!

The best part of working with Anjuli was getting to hang out with Anjuli! In January 2015, she gave a private makeup session for my friends, and showcased her knowledge of practical cosmetics tips for various day and evening looks. Her positive, bubbly spirit, excellent instructions and easy-to-follow techniques helped us understand the looks to create, and what worked for our needs. We all appreciated that she did not push us to buy any brand-name products – she used brands we were familiar with, and within budget.

We achieved our desired results, from trying on a look for a day at the office, and then switching it up for an evening 5-à-7 outing.  Anjuli spent an hour on each person to explain the steps of the look – and encouraged us to keep playing with the eye shadows, the foundations, and understand what could be used for various skin tones and types. She made us feel comfortable and gave us the confidence to explore various product lines, and ask questions throughout the session.

I would recommend Anjuli as a makeup artist for future events – she gave us the tools to guide us and the freedom to have fun! She’s awesome!

The best part of working with Anjuli is her upbeat, happy, and fun character. Her personality and knowledge about makeup shows her experience, which I love. Anjuli was a sweetheart and did my first anniversary makeup. The makeup trial before the wedding really put me at ease with Anjuli's work and facilitated communication while building trust. It has been 4 years and everyone still complements me on the makeup for my wedding when they see pictures. It was my first time putting on makeup professionally and Anjuli understood very well my needs and apprehension with the end result being a look that really captured my personality. Anjuli will blow away your expectations and give you an amazing customer experience.

Anjuli was willing to listen and hear my ideas and thoughts on my desired look. She was able to take her expertise and break it down for me to learn how to apply on my own which is so invaluable!! Often MUA just want to create a look but they don't want to explain so you are always dependent on them but she went out of her way to inform and help me learn about my skin, makeup and what suits it. You can see this is Anjuli’s true calling and passion!!

One of Anjuli’s greatest strengths is the balance she can strike between the client’s vision and her experience in the makeup industry. You always feel heard about your preferences and choices yet she blends in her recommendations to create a final outcome that’s outstanding. She is so easy and fun to work with!!. The other aspect that I really appreciated was the fact that she would share tips with you to make small changes to your makeup routine that are easy to follow on a daily basis.
